After the last chemotherapy I was bald and some thin babyhair began to grow. I wanted to paint something joyful. I painted cats with ink and they got hundreds of babyhair made by a needle technique. Babyhair is a symbol of rebirth and to sprout new life.
Artist Suvi Maaria Tirronen was born  in Helsinki, Finland. She has taken BA degree Bachelor of the Visual Arts  at Arts Academy at Turku University of the Applied Sciences, Finland. She has studied  foreign languages and literature at Ca'Foscari University, Venice, Italy.

Suvi Maaria Tirronen has won the premio Sandro Carlesso at Umoristica a Marostica 2007 competition, La Favola bella, Legnago, Italy, 2008 and a honorary mention at Oulu Nordic Comics Competition, 2018, Finland. She has participated personal and collective exhibitions.  She lives in Vicenza, Italy.

Dopo l' ultima chemioterapia ero calva e un po' di cappelli finissimi cominciavano a ricrescere. Volevo dipingere qualcosa di allegro. Dipingevo gatti con l'inchiostro e centinaia di peli fini fini con la tecnica dell'ago. I peli fini sono il simbolo della rinascita e del germogliare di nuova vita.
 
Artista Suvi Maaria Tirronen è nata a Helsinki, Finlandia. Lei si è  laureata alla  Turku University of the Applied Science, Finlandia. Lei ha studiato lingue straniere e letteratura all' università Ca' Foscari, Venezia.

Suvi Maaria Tirronen ha vinto il premio speciale "Sandro Carlesso"  - Umoristi a Marostica 2007 ,  il concorso "La Favola Bella" a Legnago 2008 e menzione d'onore "Oulu Nordic Comics Competition 2018, Finlandia. Lei abita a Vicenza.
